Salty Forecast

Tide Charts, Town by Town

Every town below gets today’s highs and lows, the full week ahead, and the tidal range for the day — predicted by NOAA for the nearest station to that water, not interpolated from somewhere down the coast. Each page names the station it reads so you know exactly how far away the gauge is.

Predictions are astronomical: they know the moon, not the weather. A hard onshore wind piles water up and a strong cold front pushes it out, so a real tide can run a foot either side of the number. For what the wind is doing on top of the tide, check the fishing forecast for that town.
