Fishing Boca Grande
Boca Grande Pass, at the mouth of Charlotte Harbor, is the most famous tarpon fishery on the planet — every spring and early summer thousands of giant tarpon stage in the deep pass. Beyond the tarpon, snook and redfish work the beaches and backcountry of Gasparilla Island, and grouper and snapper hold on the nearshore hard bottom.
