The water at Boynton Beach
Boynton Inlet is small, narrow, and ferocious — a huge volume of Lake Worth Lagoon squeezing through a short cut, which makes it one of the most reliable snook and tarpon spots on the Gold Coast and one of the trickier ones to run. Just outside, the reef line sits within a few hundred yards of the beach, holding mutton snapper, permit, and kingfish on a very short run.
