About Miramar Beach
Miramar Beach fronts open Gulf along South Walton with no pass or inlet for miles, which makes it a pure beach — no boat wake, no current cutting through, just the bar and the trough. The Whale's Tail sits right on the sand at Seascape and has been a fixture here for decades. This stretch is also the western end of the coastal dune lake country, a landform found in only a handful of places on earth, where a rare tannic lake occasionally breaks through the dune and drains straight into the Gulf.
