Fishing Fernandina Beach
Fernandina Beach sits at Florida's northeast corner, where St. Marys Inlet separates Amelia Island from Cumberland Island and a vast spartina marsh runs back behind it. The tides up here are the biggest in the state — six feet and more — which floods the grass and drives a serious redfish and flounder fishery. Tripletail hang on the channel markers, and the jetties hold everything from black drum to tarpon in season.
