About Boca Raton Inlet
Boca Raton's inlet is short and comparatively shallow, but it drains Lake Boca and the south end of the lagoon, and the jetties and the Camino Real bridge over it hold snook, tarpon, jacks and sheepshead. South Inlet Park on the south jetty gives good land-based access to all of it. Outside, the first reef line runs close enough to the beach that permit, snapper and Spanish mackerel are within a mile of the sand — and Lake Boca itself is the sandbar party spot for half the county on a weekend.
What this camera is good for
- Whether the inlet is passable at the current tide
- Boat traffic in and out of Lake Boca
- Surf and water clarity over the near reef
- Weekend sandbar crowds
This host serves timestamped frames with no fixed image address, so the link opens its page rather than embedding a still.

Common questions
- Is the Boca Raton Inlet camera live?
- Yes — it streams on the operator's own site, and the link on this page always opens whichever stream is currently running.
- Does it cost anything to watch?
- No. Salty Forecast is completely free — no ads, no account, no paid tier, and nothing on this page is behind a sign-up.
- What are the tides at Boca Raton today?
- Today's high and low tide times for Boca Raton are on the tide chart page, drawn from the NOAA station at Boca Raton, Lake Boca Raton. Tide state changes what the beach looks like on camera — at low water the beach is at its widest.
- Why does the camera look hazy or dark?
- Live cameras sit outdoors: rain on the lens, salt spray, fog and low light all affect the picture. Night views are lit only by whatever is nearby. If the feed is down entirely, that is the operator's camera rather than this page — the conditions above still update.
