About Navarre Beach

Windjammers on the Pier sits at the foot of the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, and this camera looks across its beach deck, down the sand path through the dunes and out to the Gulf, with the pier stretching away on the right. It is the ground-level companion to the camera on the pier itself: you can see the shore break, the flag line and the people walking out, instead of a view down the planks. Navarre's beach is backed by low dunes and national seashore on both sides of town, so what the surf does here is a fair read on the whole of this part of Santa Rosa Island.

Common questions

Is the Navarre Beach camera live?
Yes. It is the operator's own YouTube live stream, and this page always plays whichever stream is running right now. If they are between streams, you will see a link to their channel instead.
Does it cost anything to watch?
No. Salty Forecast is completely free — no ads, no account, no paid tier, and nothing on this page is behind a sign-up.
What are the tides at Navarre Beach today?
Today's high and low tide times for Navarre Beach are on the tide chart page, drawn from the NOAA station at Pensacola Beach Pier. Tide state changes what the beach looks like on camera — at low water the beach is at its widest.
Why does the camera look hazy or dark?
Live cameras sit outdoors: rain on the lens, salt spray, fog and low light all affect the picture. Night views are lit only by whatever is nearby. If the feed is down entirely, that is the operator's camera rather than this page — the conditions above still update.
